The Scenes City Telesolutions franchise has been taken by a young entrepreneur, Mr Jivon Louison, a hospitality and customer care specialist. He will be the Managing Director of Grenada branch taking care of the operations in Grenada and Northern United States.
Before establishing a call centre, Mr. Louison had worked with many top businesses across Grenada and became an accomplished customer service expert during that time. He brings to any company strong capabilities in contract negotiation, project management, telemarketing, and a unique combination of skills.
Impressively, Mr. Louison is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management at St. George’s University (SGU). This, undoubtedly, will further advance his skill set and leadership qualities. One of his life goals is to be a great example to those he manages and passionately enjoys his chosen profession while maintaining an excellent balance between home and work . His ultimate goal for the next five years is to master in his position as Managing Director and customer care expert; he sees himself taking on new and exciting projects at Scenes City Telesolutions.
Why have you decided to set up a call center?
Being a customer service expert I decided to utilize my expertise, passion and drive to help customers experience exceptional service at each and every encounter and to provide local opportunity and growth by supporting these customers in the most effective and efficient way.
Why have you decided on a career change?
In life, we are faced with choices. These choices include education, lifestyle, career path etc. My career change comes as a result of me understanding my purpose and role on this planet and pursuing a calling that I am passionate about. All that is needed is for a person to be truly content and have a love for what they do. For me, following my dream of providing exceptional customer service at each and every client encounter is satisfaction and contentment.
What do you think is crucial in running a business?
There are many things I consider crucial in running a business however I believe quality customer service is paramount and vital to the success of any business. Expressing the importance of customer service fosters a customer centric environment as satisfied customers can return to your business and refer others.
Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond for a customer.
To me, going above and beyond means understanding the needs of the customer and empathizing with them. I recall in my capacity as public area manager, at a resort I was employed with, a guest lost his luggage and was furious because he was planning to engage his girlfriend and the ring for this special moment was inside. While we spoke, I told him I will do all in my power to retrieve his luggage, first I called the airline to confirm the luggage was sent to Grenada, then contacted the airport in search of the bags, after hours of back and forth on the phone, I finally got a match for the luggage in transit to Barbados, I quickly contacted the guest and we drove to the airport. He was thrilled that I did that for him. After that, he recommended us to her friends, family and co-workers, and just like that the company gained additional regular customers.
